The purpose of the consultation with the parents to help you, as a parent, make one of the most important decisions you will ever make as a parent: the crucial choice of your schools. Mr. Davis views meeting with parents in the Mentor area as a ministry – he is committed to helping you for the educational success of your child … whether you enroll at Mentor Christian or not.
Our goal is to listen to your goals, aspirations, and heart for your child (or children!) And based on what matters to you, give the wisest possible counsel. Not selling, but helping.
Frank Davis has spent his entire educational career at Mentor Christian – over 40 years! (He actually started as a janitor, in college …) He taught 35 years at the Junior High and Elementary levels. The last five years he has served as the Principal. Frank brings a servant heart to all his work at Mentor. His goal has always been to produce faithful and productive young adults in the Mentor area to advance the Kingdom of God.
Mr. Davis has a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lake Erie College, a Bachelors in Education from Bryan, coursework at Appalachian Bible College, and an associates degree from Lakeland Community College here in Mentor.
While students from Mentor Christian have gone to the finest universities and Christian colleges in our country, Frank understands the struggle of many students educationally. Whether top of the class or struggling, Mr. Davis is committed to helping your child become all that he or she can be.
Frank’s four children all graduated from Mentor Christian, and six grandchildren are currently enrolled.
